Welcome to The Nebraska Crohn’s and Colitis Center of Excellence for the advanced care of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in Omaha, Nebraska. The Center is a collaboration between the Physicians of Midwest Gastrointestinal Associates PC and Colon and Rectal Surgery Inc. Our mission is to utilize a collaborative approach between gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, pathologists, nutritionists and case managers for the diagnosis, treatment and comprehensive care of all patients with IBD, to include Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.
Our services include, but are not limited to: office and hospital consultation, surgical consultation and intervention when needed, IBD nurse/case managers, colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, infusion therapy, video capsule endoscopy, dietary consultation, financial counseling and access to psychosocial support. Working as a multidisciplinary team, we establish and develop clinical protocols for a fully integrated and coordinated plan of care for each patient.
