Tara obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2000. She has six years of Registered Nurse experience on a telemetry medical-surgical unit and in endoscopy units for the Nebraska Medical Center. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in 2005 from the University Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. Tara is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Nebraska Nurse Practitioner Association. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She and her husband have three children.
