It is important that you have a good understanding of your insurance plan coverage and what, if any, financial responsibilities you may have when receiving medical care from us. You should always check with your health insurance plan before your appointments to make sure you understand your covered benefits and costs. Because insurance plans vary widely, we strongly recommend and encourage you to speak with your insurance company. Your case manager or nurse will also advise you of assistance programs that are available.
We’re here to help you:
Our billing staff is available to answer your financial questions and concerns related to your IBD care and to discuss payment arrangements and options. Financial Counselors are available between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call us at (402) 397-7057 to discuss payment arrangements.
To ensure the continuity of care, it is critical for you to contact our office immediately with changes in insurance plan or if you have loss of coverage. If MGI is not notified of insurance changes, you may be liable for those charges.
