Shelly obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1995. She has eight years of Registered Nurse experience in Critical Care, in two gastroenterology practices, and in endoscopy units for the Nebraska Medical Center. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner in 2003 from the University Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. Shelly is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Nebraska Nurse Practitioners Association. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
