Nursing & Prescriptions

Our nursing staff is available by phone to schedule office visits or procedures from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday at (402) 397-7057.  At times our nursing staff may be working with another patient; in these instances, please leave a message and a nurse will return your call.  Any calls received after 4:00 p.m. may not be returned until the following business day (see After Hours for immediate GI concerns).

We encourage you to make an appointment to see your gastroenterologist or call with your questions during office hours related to your gastrointestinal concerns.  If you develop a non-digestive disorder while under our care, please arrange for your primary care physician to assist you.  If you do not have a primary care physician, we can assist you in finding appropriate medical care.

If you are experiencing an emergent gastrointestinal concern after hours, please contact our office.  Our on-call physician will be paged and will return your call.  However, we request this service not be used for routine questions, biopsy results, refills, or insurance questions.

Prescription Refills

If the pharmacy indicates they are unable to refill your GI medication, our nursing staff is available to assist you with medication refills between, 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.  Please call our office at (402) 397-7057.  If you have not had a recent office visit, our nurses may need to assist you in obtaining an office visit to evaluate your current medication needs.
