Infusion Center

Midwest Gastrointestinal Associates, PC, has a dedicated infusion center which provides intravenous medications used to treat inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).  Our infusion center provides optimal coordination of care with onsite gastroenterologists and specialized nursing staff.  Our nursing staff is committed to providing the highest level of care available.  The infusion center strives to make infusion treatments as convenient and stress-free as possible and offers the following amenities to enhance your infusion experience:

Intravenous Medications

Entyvio – A biologic IV therapy drug given 6-8 times per year as treatment for Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis         Entyvio Post Infusion Instructions

Injectafer – Intravenous iron therapy given in 2 doses, 1 week apart.  Used as treatment for iron deficiency            Injectafer Post Infusion Instructions

Monoferric – Intravenous iron therapy given as 1 dose.  Used as treatment for iron deficiency                        Monoferric Post Infusion Instructions

Remicade – A biologic IV therapy drug given 6-8 times per year as treatment for Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis        Remicade Post Infusion Instructions
