Rajani Rangray, MD

    She always knew she wanted to be a doctor.  Helping patients feel better, gives her an intense internal satisfaction and happiness. She completed her Internal Medicine training at Mount Sinai VA Hospital, Bronx, New York and came to Omaha for additional Liver Transplant training.  During her training, she fell in love with the people of Omaha and decided to remain here. She later completed her Gastroenterology training at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha.  During her residency, she knew she had a special place in her heart for taking care of complex liver patients as it involves meticulous care, close monitoring and caring for pre- and post-transplant patients.  She is a firm believer of service and, for her, patients come first.

    She has a special interest in managing chronic liver disease and its complications, benign and malignant tumors of liver, viral hepatitis, hepatitis B and C, diagnosis and management of benign and malignant disease involving esophagus, stomach, and colon.

    In her free time, she loves to spend time with family, travelling, hiking, biking, listening to music and watching movies.
