Hepatitis C / Liver Disease
At Midwest Gastrointestinal Associates, PC, our gastroenterologists and specialized nursing services provide evaluation and treatment of hepatitis infections and other chronic liver diseases, such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, hemochromatosis and primary biliary cirrhosis. The clinic also provides evaluation of patients with cirrhosis who may be in need of liver transplantation. Candidates for transplant will be referred to The Nebraska Medical Center liver transplant program or another program in the United States.
