Tyron A. Alli, M.D. |  Dr. Alli was born in GeorgetownGuyana, in 1960. He graduated from high school at East York Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Canada, and graduated cum laude from the University of Texas of Houston in 1983. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1989. His residency was completed at TexasTechUniversityHealthSciencesCenter in Lubbock, along with a fellowship in gastroenterology. He also completed a fellowship in hepatology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Alli is board certified in internal medicine since 1992 and in gastroenterology since 1995. He is married with four children
Alexander B. Bernal, M.D. |  Born and raised in Yonkers, New York, Dr. Bernal received his Bachelors and Medical degree from University of Illinois. It was there he met his wife who is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He is a member of the AmericanCollege of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Medical Association, and Metro Omaha Medical Association. Douglas E. Brouillette, M.D. |  Dr. Brouillette was raised in North Platte, Nebraska. He recieved his Medical Degree in 1983 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center , and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine in 1986. He then completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at The University of Pittsburgh in 1988. Dr. Brouillette has authored and co/authored many scientific articles related to Gastrointestinal and Liver diseases. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology/Hepatology. Dr. Brouillette and his wife Karen have three children. He is a member of the AmericanCollege of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Nebraska Medical Association, and Metropolitan Omaha Medical Society. Jason J. Cisler, M.D. |  Dr. Cisler was born in 1974. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1996, and his M.D. from UNMC in 2000. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, Chicago, IL. Dr. Cisler is board-certified in Internal Medicine, and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the AmericanCollege of Gastroenterology.
Timothy B. Denzler, M.D. |  Dr. Denzler was born in Grinnell, Iowa in 1946. He moved to Omaha in 1953. He attended WestsideHigh School and graduated in 1964. After attending the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Dr. Denzler went to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha for medical school and graduated in 1971. After internship and residency at UNMC, he went into the Navy and served as a medical officer at Camp Pendleton, California, from 1974 to 1976. Dr. Denzler returned to UNMC for his gastroenterology fellowship which he completed in 1978. He was in private practice in Omaha from 1978 through 2007. He has now retired from practice. Kimberly S. Harmon, M.D. |  Dr. Harmon is a Nebraska native and received her Bachelor of Science in Biologyfrom the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1995. She recieved her M.D. from UNMC in May of 2001 and completed here fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2007. Dr. Harmon is board certified in Intenal Medicine and board eligible in Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Motility Society.
Michael B. Jones, M.D. |  Dr. Jones was born in Omaha Nebraska, in 1950. He graduated from Westside High School in 1968. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas, where he graduated with honors in 1972. He then graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine with honors, and an M.D. degree in 1975. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1978, and in 1980 he completed post-graduate training in Gastroenterology and Liver Disease at the UCLA Hospital and Center for Health Sciences in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Jones is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology. In addition, he is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. He is a past governor of the Nebraska Chapter. Dr .Jones is a member of Phi-Beta-Kappa an Alpha-Omega-Alpha Honorary Societies. He has been in private practice in Omaha since 1980 and has three children. William C. Livingston, D.O. |  Dr. Livingston was born in Omaha, NE in 1961. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City Iowa, in 1986, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990 from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Science, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at UNMC, Omaha, NE 1995. Dr. Livingston is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and a Fellow in the AmericanCollege of Physicians. He is a member of the AmericanCollege of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, The american college of Physicians, Nebraska Medical Society and the Metropolitan Omaha Medical Society.
Thomas R. McGinn, M.D. |  Dr. McGinn is originally from St. LouisMissouri. He received a B.A. degree and M.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1988. His residency in Internal Medicine and subsequent Fellowship in Gastroenterology were completed at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver. In 1993, he came to Omaha as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and consultant in Gastroenterology at CreightonUniversity where he practiced for 5 years. He joined our practice in 1998. He is a Fellow in the AmericanCollege of Physicians and a member of the AmericanCollege of Gastroenterology and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. McGinn is board certified in Gastroenterology.
John C. Mitchell, II, M.D. |  Dr. Mitchell was born in Kearney Nebraska, in 1957. He graduated from Creighton Preparatory High School in 1975 and attended Stanford University, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree in history in 1979. He went on to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he received his M.D. degree in 1984. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Hennipen County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1984 through 1987. There he served as chief medical resident in 1987. He completed a three year Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota in 1990 and returned to private practice in Omaha that year. Dr. Mitchell was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1987 and by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in 1991. He is married with two children. He is a member of the American College of Physicians. Trevor J. Pearson, M.D. |  Dr Pearson was born in Norfolk Nebraska, in 1974. He received his undergraduate degree from Creighton University in 1996. He went on to receive his M.D. degree in 2000 at Creighton University. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology in 2006 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After completing his fellowship he joined Midwest Gastrointestinal Associates. Dr. Pearson is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is married with two children. He is a member of the american College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, Nebraska Medical Association, and Metropolitan Omaha Medical Society. Edwin C. Schafer, II, M.D. |  Dr. Schafer was born in Omaha Nebraska, in 1946. He received his undergraduate degree from the College of St. Thomas, St. Paul Seminary, St. Paul MN, in 1968. He went on to Creighton University Medical School earning his M.D. degree in 1974. He completed residency and a fellowship at the University Of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1979. Dr. Schafer is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, the American College of Physicians, Metro Omaha Medical Society, Nebraska Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is married with three grown children. Bradley J. Schroeder, M.D. |  Dr. Schroeder is from Norfolk Nebraska. He earned his BS in Biology Magna Cum Laude in 1992. He attended the University of Nebraska Medical center and received his Medical Degree in 1996. Following his Internship, he completed an Internal medicine residency at the University of Vermont in 1999. He completed his training with a three year Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Vermont in 2002. He has been in private practice since that time. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and board Certified in Gastroenterology. Steven D. Wilkening, M.D. |  Dr. Wilkening was born in Decatur, AL in 1954. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas, Austin, TX in 1976, and then came to Omaha for medical school, graduating in 1979 from UNMC. He completed residencies at UNMC and Brackenridge Hospital, Austin, TX, returning to Omaha to complete a GI fellowship in 1984. Dr. Wilkening is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association, the Nebraska Medical Association, and Metro Omaha Medical Society. He is married with three children. |
